DIN933 is a German standard hexagon bolt, which is suitable for full thread hexagon bolts with a diameter of M1.6-M52. The general carbon steel grades are mainly 4.8, 8.8 and 10.9. The common standards are DIN931 and DIN933 for metric coarse thread; DIN960 and DIN961 are for metric fine thread hex bolts. Also there are ASME hex bolt, such as ASME B18.2.1 hex cap screws, hex heavy bolt, etc. Some customers need JIS hex bolts, such as JIS B1180 hex bolts.
The different standards defines the detail dimensions of hex head bolt, for example, M10X30 hex bolt, there are hex head dimensions, thread dimensions in the standard which can be produced with. It is very helpful to see what hex bolts customers need.
The tolerance fit before galvanizing is mainly 6g/6h, and the factory belt fit after galvanizing can be changed to 6h/6g. However, after coating, it is affected by the thickness of the surface coating. When testing the thread with the corresponding GO or Stop gauge, there may be cases where it cannot be matched, and only the nut installation test that matches the specification can be performed.
